At present, there are no passenger rail services to Qatar from Saudi Arabia, the only country which Qatar shares its land borders.

Driving to Qatar

Qatar shares land borders with Saudi Arabia which may be shut from time to time due to conflicts. Even when the borders are opened, only residents of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE, along with permit holders, can cross the borders.

Doha and Ras Laffan are the main ports. The water traffic is mostly commercial.
