Where to stay in Qatar

Hotels:

Doha has many glitzy, five-star hotels along the waterfront. These hotels serve many purposes - they provide accommodations, they are nightlife venues, and also a place for expats to gather and socialise. Once you're away from the waterfront, you will find cheaper, smaller hotels.

Grading: Hotels are graded from 1 to 5 stars.

Camping:

Many tour operators organise overnight camping in the desert near Khor Al Adaid. With kebabs spitting over the fire, stars spangling the sky and the dulcet voice of your guide intoning Arabic poetry, this can be a highlight of a trip to Qatar.
