Normal tourist visa

If you are from a country not listed above, you need to check with a consulate near you. Often, you're required to provide a letter of invitation from a tour company in Uzbekistan and must arrange a visa support letter. Please note that the tour company may need to submit the support letter directly to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tashkent before the visa can be approved. Also, a personal interview may be required before a visa can be issued. The good news is, if you're transiting through Uzbekistan for less than five days, you may not require a visa. Please see the transit section below and check if you are from one of the 48 countries which can enjoy a stay of up to five days during each transit.
