Driving directions

From Greensboro, take Interstate 40 west to exit 212B. Then, turn onto the northbound Interstate 73 and continue until Bryan Boulevard. Turn west onto Bryan Boulevard and take the marked exit for the airport.

From Winston-Salem, take Interstate 40 east or Business 40 east to exit 210. Turn left onto NC68 north and take the airport exit after 3km (2 miles).

From High Point, head east along 85B and merge onto Interstate 85. Then, take Interstate 73 northbound and follow directions as with the journey from Greensboro.

Public transport road

Bus: PART (Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation) (tel: (336) 662 0002 or (336) 883-7278 for shuttle pick up; www.partnc.org) operates free bus services from Piedmont Triad International Airport to its central hub, connecting with its express routes serving the rest of the region. Those not connecting to the company’s other services are required to pay the US$2.40 fare.

Shuttle: Many local hotels offer complimentary shuttle services.

Taxi: Taxi and shuttle services are provided by Triad Transportation (tel: (336) 668 9808). These depart from the ground level of the terminal.

ATMs are located at various points within the terminal building. There are no currency exchange facilities at Piedmont Triad International Airport.

Disabled facilities

Parking spaces for disabled visitors are provided in the short-term multistorey and long-stay surface car parks – shuttle buses to and from the long-term car park are equipped with lifts. Wheelchairs are available on request at Piedmont Triad International Airport.

Car parking

Short-term parking can be found in the multistorey car park opposite the terminal building, which has space for almost 2,000 vehicles. In addition, the metered area immediately opposite the terminal allows stays of up to two hours.

The two long-term car parks are also located across from the terminal building with additional overflow parking to the north of the terminal and in satellite car parks nearby. All long-term and satellite car parks are served regularly by airport shuttles.

Valet parking is available directly outside the terminal building.
