Camping adventure tours in the national parks are possible with a guide.

Other accommodation

Ecohotels: A relatively new breed, ecohotels are taking off in Trinidad & Tobago now the country’s ecological credentials are being internationally recognised (particularly on Tobago). Facilities fall somewhere between top-end guest house and luxury hotel, although with to-die-for locations and a sense of environmental wellbeing, many visitors will relish sampling the country’s latest accommodation phenomenon.

Youth Hostels: A sprinkling of hostels can be found across Port of Spain, with a couple also in operation on Tobago. Room prices can be under US£20 per night for dorm-style accommodation.
