Passports

To enter Madagascar, a passport valid for six months after the date of entry is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above. Your passport must also have at least two blank pages for visa.

Visas
Visas for Madagascar are not required by any nationals referred to in the chart above for stays less than 15 days. Visas for Madagascar are required by all nationals referred to in the chart above for stays of 15 days or more.
 
Tourists from all countries can apply for an eVisa which is a single-entry visa for stays of up to 30 days or up to 60 days at evisamada-mg.com/en/home.
 
Visitors who plan to stay longer than 60 days need to apply for a visa prior to their travel at a diplomatic representation of Madagascar.
 
Visa-on-arrival 
 
Nationals from all countries who plan to stay up to 30 days in Madagascar can apply for a visa-on-arrival at the airport or port in cash, using US$, Euros, or Malagasy Ariary.

You can obtain a visa valid for 30 days upon arrival in Madagascar. You must pay in cash with US Dollars or Euros.

For stays over one month, you need to apply for a visa from the nearest Madagascan Embassy.
