Getting around Equatorial Guinea
Punto Azul (www.flypuntoazul.gq) and Ceiba Intercontinental both fly between Malabo and Bata.
Roads are good on the whole and traffic is light. Police and military roadblocks are common; you may need to show your passport, driving licence and/or vehicle registration and explain your reason for travelling.
Bush taxis connect Malabo with the island's two other main towns, Luba and Riaba, and also run from Bata to Mongomo and Ebebiyin; they can be hired hourly or daily.
