Amman Queen Alia International Airport Guide (AMM)
Amman Queen Alia International Airport is located 32km (20 miles) south of Amman.

From central Amman, take Route 35 southbound and merge onto Route 15 (known locally as Airport Road). The airport exit is shortly before the town of Al Jizah. The total drive time from central Amman to the airport is approximately 50 minutes.
Public Transport
Bus:There is a shuttle bus service (tel: +962 6 489 1348) between the airport and central Amman, running every 30 minutes from 0630-1700 and then every hour until midnight. The journey time to Amman is approximately 45 minutes, and the fare starts at JOD3.250 (with an additional charge for luggage).
Taxi:Taxis (tel: +962 6 445 1074) are available outside Arrivals. The journey time to central Amman is about 30 minutes, and the fare is approximately JOD15-20.
Terminal facilities
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Amman Queen Alia International Airport. A post office is located on the ground floor of the terminal.
There is a range of cafés, fast-food outlets and restaurants both air- and land-side in the terminal complex.
The airport offers extensive duty-free shopping, together with a selection of gift and souvenir shops, specialist food outlets and bookshops.
Airport facilities
There are three lounges at the airport: Zain, Royal Jordanian and Crown, which are in the departures hall, as well as Petra Lounge on the North Pier.
Conference and meeting facilities are also available at the nearby Amman Airport Hotel (tel: +962 6 445 1000; www.ammanairporthotel.com).
Designated disabled parking facilities are provided. The airport is generally wheelchair accessible, with special toilets, ramps and lifts. Assistance personnel are available on request. Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.
There are two main car parks at Amman Queen Alia International Airport, accommodating nearly 1,800 vehicles. One is for short- term parking and the other for long-term options. The short-term parking area is located in front of the building, while long-term parking is further away but is linked via a shuttle service.
Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National, Payless and Thrifty are represented at Amman Queen Alia International Airport, along with a number of local operators. Car rental counters are situated in the arrivals areas of the terminal.
Located in the city centre (private transport to and from the airport can be arranged), the Four Seasons is a luxury hotel offering a choice of dining, spa facilities, and both indoor and outdoor pools.
The 304-room Amman Airport Hotel is just 2km (1.4 miles) from Amman Queen Alia International Airport. In addition to a range of eating and drinking venues, the 4-star hotel boasts a fitness suite, pool, meeting rooms and business services. A free shuttle operates to and from the airport.
Also situated in the heart of the city, the Grand Palace has 138 rooms, and offers meeting facilities, two restaurants, and a gym and spa.
