Viewers are transported to buzzing Bangkok in The Hangover Part II

The Hangover Part II: Bangkok, Thailand The first part of this hit comedy focused on an unforgettable stag night in sleepless Las Vegas, but in the follow-up, viewers are transported to buzzing Bangkok. One of the most compelling destinations in Asia, Thailand's capital is home to grand hotels, glitzy shopping centres and congested market streets packed with food stalls selling traditional Thai cuisine. If that's not enough, marvel at the Siam Paragon entertainment complex or take in spectacular sunset views at the Wat Arun Temple of Dawn.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides: London, UK

An area steeped in maritime history, it is no surprise that Greenwich was chosen as the setting for the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film. Jack Sparrow may not be there in person, but the London borough boasts several historical attractions including the Old Royal Naval College (where a majority of the filming took place), the Queen's House and National Maritime Museum, which house fascinating naval exhibitions and galleries, and the Royal Observatory, which straddles the prime meridian timeline.

X-Men: First Class: Colwood, Canada

Located on Canada's Vancouver Island, Colwood is the perfect destination for travellers looking for a quiet retreat. X-Men fans will recognise the stately Hatley Castle, which is used as the home for the biologically gifted superheroes. The castle's expansive Royal Roads University grounds are filled with colourful flowerbeds and an ornate Japanese garden. A veritable green city, Colwood has 53 parks, where hiking and cycling trails are popular among both guests and locals.

Colombiana takes the audience on a fast-paced chase in Colombia, a diverse and beautiful country often overlooked by tourists due to decades of political and social strife.
